A foam pump pack is an empty bottle plus a foaming pump. The foam depends on the liquid and on the pump’s air-to-liquid mix. Wholesale here means you are specifying that empty pack for a quote. Do not copy a foam ratio from marketing copy into your label or into this site. If a supplier states a ratio, file the test liquid and the date next to it. No ratio is assumed here.
When not to use a foam pump
Do not specify a foam pump for an oil, a cream, or any formula that did not foam in a sample with the quoted pump. Do not specify one when the neck on the bottle and the neck on the pump are only “similar”. Do not use a foam pump to solve a lotion-pump or spray-pump brief. Those are different closures.
Personal care packaging is the right scene when the formula is a cleanser, hand wash, or similar water-based product and you still need to choose among formats. Stay on the foam category only after a sample has foamed with your liquid.
Salon use is a different brief
Salon back-bar packaging, including cleanser pumps, is handled as a scene decision on beauty salon packaging. This page does not set a lash-cleanser ratio and does not review salon products. If the liquid is a salon cleanser, still run the neck and sample-foam checks above before you borrow a pump from a retail quote.
MOQ is a quote field, not a small-brand strategy
Ask how many empty packs you can order as a sample, and how many you can order as a production run. Ask whether color, print, and pump style change those quantities.
